Laboratory of Nanostructures perform PCA certified testing according to ISO quality norm (ISO17025).
Zetasizer NanoZS analyzer technology is based on Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) technique widely known in physics. DLS is a technique of particles size analysis based on particles Brownian motions detection. NanoZS device enable particle size distribution analysis in a range from 0,6 nm to 6 µm. Malvern technology is using a NIBS (Non-Invasive Back Scatter) patented technology where detector is fixed at 173 degree angle. This specific configuration enable high sensibility of measurement and possibility of testing very concentrated samples. DLS can be used to probe the behavior of complex fluids such as polymer solutions with high concentration.
Zetasizer NanoZS enables also measurement of the zeta potential, electrophoretic mobility and isoelectric point detection thanks to automatic titration system. Zeta potential measurement is based ELS (Elektroforetic Light Scattering) and its often used for colloid stability testing.
